Security and Privacy Inside the App
This page explains the layers that protect your data. The app uses minimal permissions, optional authentication, limited cloud sync, and manual backups only when you choose them.
Authentication and sessions
- You can start anonymously, then upgrade to Google sign-in later.
- Sessions are handled through standard authentication flows and end when you sign out or remove the app.
- The app avoids duplicate active user identities in the same session.
Sync and storage
Data is stored locally first and synced to the cloud when needed. Sync focuses on numbers and text only, not unnecessary files or media.
Backup and restore
You can export an encrypted backup file and restore it later. Backup is not automatic and requires a direct action from you.
Analytics and attribution
Analytics are limited to essential events for product improvement and campaign measurement. Sensitive financial content is not shared with external marketing systems.
Practical safety habits
- Use a screen lock on your phone.
- Keep a recent backup before changing devices.
- Install updates regularly to receive security fixes.
